EXCHANGE OF VIEWS ON COOPERATION

H.E. Ms. Davaasuren Gerelmaa, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Mongolia, met with H.E. Ms. Riia Salsa-Audiffren, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Estonia, on 29 September 2026.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on opportunities to further expand cooperation in the areas of e-governance, digital transformation, information and communication technologies, cybersecurity, and digital skills development.

They also held in-depth discussions on strengthening cooperation within the frameworks of the International Telecommunication Union and the United Nations.

The two sides underscored the importance of effectively harnessing digital technologies and innovation to advance sustainable development and socio-economic growth, and expressed their interest in exchanging experience and further enhancing cooperation between the relevant institutions of the two countries.

Mongolia and the Republic of Estonia established diplomatic relations on 20 November 1991.
