MONGOLIAN CULTURAL DAY TO BE HELD IN ROMAINMÔTIER, SWITZERLAND ON 22 AUGUST 2026
On 22 August, in Romainmôtier, Switzerland, the artists of the “Distant Neighbour – Mongolia” cultural and educational project, with the generous support of the Swiss cultural organisation Henosis, will host the “Buuvei” Mongolian Cultural Day to promote Mongolian rich cultural heritage.
The event will feature a complex programme, including Mongolian fine art, morin khuur performances, Bii biyelgee traditional dance, a thematic reading of The Secret History of the Mongols, a demonstration of assembling traditional Mongolian ger, and a presentation of shamanic rituals. This cultural tour will be showcased in both Switzerland and France.
