THE 13TH INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF MONGOLISTS CONVENES IN ULAANBAATAR

The 13th International Congress of Mongolists, “Mongolian Studies: Tradition and Modernity,” convenes in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia from 10 to 13 August 2026 under the auspices of the President of Mongolia.

The Congress welcomes more than 550 scholars and researchers from 30 countries to showcase recent researches on Mongolian language, history, culture and heritage, and to strengthen international academic cooperation in Mongolian studies.

Prof. Dr. Karenina Kollmar-Paulenz, former Head of Department of the Study of Religious and Central Asian Studies at the University of Bern, Switzerland, is actively attending the Congress to introduce her recent study. 

Prof. Dr. Karenina has contributed her valuable works towards promoting Mongolian language, religion, and culture in Switzerland for over twenty years.
