THE 68TH SERIES OF MEETINGS OF THE ASSEMBLIES OF THE MEMBER STATES OF WORLD INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ORGANIZATION (WIPO) CONVENES IN GENEVA
The Sixty-Eight Series of Meetings of the Assemblies of the Member States of World Intellectual Property Organization is taking place on July 7-15, 2026, in Geneva, Switzerland.
H.E. Ms. Gerelmaa Davaasuren, Permanent Representative of Mongolia to the United Nations Office at Geneva and Mr. Elbegsaikhan Ganbat, Director General of the Intellectual Property Office of Mongolia are attending the meeting. At the Series of Meetings, the General Assembly brings together representatives of 193 Member States, including ministers and deputy ministers from 30 countries and heads of intellectual property offices from more than 100 countries to deliberate key issues of the intellectual property ecosystem, multilateral cooperation, annual reports of WIPO and its Committees, budget and finance, and technical assistance.
During the Plenary session, H.E. Ms. Gerelmaa Davaasuren delivered a statement, outlining the policies and activities implemented by the Government of Mongolia as well as ongoing joint projects implemented with the support of WIPO.
