COMMITTED TO STRENGTHENING BILATERAL RELATIONS BETWEEN MONGOLIA AND SWITZERLAND
Geneva, 29 June 2026. Ambassador Ms. Davaasuren Gerelmaa held a constructive meeting with Ambassador Mr. Markus Leitner, Deputy State Secretary and Director General of the Asia and Pacific department of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland.
During the meeting, Ambassador D. Gerelmaa and Director General M. Leitner commended the outcome of the Seventh Political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland, which was held on 3 June 2026 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
Both sides reiterated their strong willingness to strengthen the bilateral cooperation between Mongolia and Switzerland in the politics, trade and economy, education, culture and health sector.
