MONGOLIA TO EXPAND COOPERATION WITH THE SWISS BETTER GOLD ASSOCIATION
Tannay, 26 June 2026. Ambassador D. Gerelmaa met with Ms.Diana Culillas, Secretary General of the Swiss Better Gold Association, to exchange views on bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, the Secretary General briefed current implementation and expressed their willingness to launch a long-term, expanded project, following the successful implementation and outcomes of the Memorandum of Understanding established with the Bank of Mongolia in 2025.
Furthermore, representatives from the "Swiss Better Gold Initiative for Artisanal and Small-Scale Mining" project are scheduled to visit Mongolia this September.
This initiative aims to facilitate the export of responsibly mined, eco-friendly gold meeting Swiss standards to Switzerland, ultimately supplying luxury jewelry manufacturers that operate as member-consumers of the association.
