PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVE MET WITH THE RESIDENT REPRESENTATIVE OF THE HANNS SEIDEL FOUNDATION
On 5 March 2026, the Permanent Representative and Ambassador, H.E. Ms. Gerelmaa Davaasuren, met with Mr. Felix Glenk, Resident Representative of the Hanns Seidel Foundation for the Korean Peninsula and Mongolia.
Mr. Felix Glenk expressed his satisfaction with the implementation of projects and programmes carried out in Mongolia through the Hanns Seidel Foundation. He noted in particular that the Foundation has been focusing its efforts on establishing a human rights–based legal environment, ensuring that newly adopted legislation is developed with the aim of protecting human rights, and enhancing the knowledge and capacity of law students and professors in the legal field.
He further expressed the Foundation’s readiness to continue supporting efforts to ensure the effective implementation of international treaties and conventions to which Mongolia is a party.
H.E. Ms. Gerelmaa Davaasuren, highlighted that the projects and programmes implemented and currently being carried out through the Foundation have made a meaningful contribution to strengthening democracy and protecting human rights. The two sides also exchanged views in detail on prospects for further cooperation.
