“LUNAR NEW YEAR 2026” MONGOLIAN NATIONAL WRESTLING TOURNAMENT SUCCESSFULLY HELD IN GENEVA

The Mongolian National Wrestling Tournament, organized by the Mongolian National Wrestling Federation, its European branch, the Mongolian National Wrestling Federation in Switzerland, and the Unified Federation of Mongolian Wrestling in Europe, was successfully held in Geneva, Switzerland, on 31 January, and 1 and 7 February.

The events were held in celebration of Mongolia’s traditional Lunar New Year and were supported and co-organized by the Embassy of Mongolia in Switzerland. The tournament was officially opened with a speech by Mr. P. Baasankhuu, Deputy Head of Mission.

Wrestlers from Switzerland, France, Germany, the Czech Republic, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Sweden competed in the “Lunar New Year 2026” Mongolian National Wrestling Tournament, showcasing their strength, speed, and skill.
