COMMITTEE ON TRADE FACILITATION MEETS IN GENEVA, 1-3 DECEMBER, 2025
The Permanent Mission of Mongolia to the UN Office, WTO and other international organizations participated in the Committee meeting on 2 December and delivered a statement as the coordinator of the LLDCs group in Geneva for the Secretariat’s report “Advancing trade in Landlocked developing countries”.
She expressed appreciation to the Secretariat and UNCTAD, UNECE, and UNESCAP for preparing the comprehensive, evidence-based assessment, which directly responds to the needs and concerns of the LLDCs. The LLDC Group views this report as an important basis for deeper cooperation within this Committee and encouraged Members, transit neighbours, regional organizations and development partners to engage with its recommendations, and to work with the Group to advance corridor-level implementation of TFA provisions, strengthen digital interoperability, and ensure that LLDCs can fully participate in—and benefit from—the evolving global trading system.
