72nd SESSION OF THE TRADE AND DEVELOPMENT BOARD IS TAKING PLACE IN GENEVA, 24–28 NOVEMBER 2025

The Delegation of Mongolia, led by H.E. Ms. Davaasuren Gerelmaa, Ambassador Permanent Representative of Mongolia to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva, is attending the Trade and Development Board’s 72nd Session, taking place in Geneva, Switzerland from 24 to 28 November 2025.The Trade and Development Board acts as UNCTAD's governing body in-between the quadrennial Conferences and it meets in Geneva for its annual session to oversee the activities of the organization.

On Wednesday, 26 November, Ambassador Davaasuren Gerelmaa delivered remarks at the General Debate in the capacity as Coordinator of the Group of Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs) in Geneva. Ambassador D. Gerelmaa underscore the UNCTAD’s leadership in driving forward the Geneva Consensus for a Just and Sustainable Economic Order. Its alignment with the Awaza Programme of Action for the Decade 2024–2034 positions UNCTAD as a key partner in accelerating SDG progress in LLDCs and call on UNCTAD to continue its decisive support in improving trade, transit and connectivity, digitalization, sustainable finance and debt management and green supply chain.
