MONGOLIA shared information on implementation of WEIDE fund in Mongolia Geneva, October 8, 2025 — Informal working group on Trade and Gender of the World Trade Organization (WTO) convened in Geneva, Switzerland.

Permanent Mission of Mongolia to the UN Office, WTO and other international organizations participated in Informal working group on Trade and Gender and shared information on the implementation of the “Women Exporters in the Digital Economy” Fund (WEIDE fund) in Mongolia.

The Women Exporters in the Digital Economy (WEIDE) Fund, launched by the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the International Trade Centre (ITC) in 2024, officially announced the 46 women-led micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) of Mongolia to benefit from the Fund on 25 August 2025 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia at the margin of the World Women Entrepreneurs’ Forum which is being held under the auspices of the President of Mongolia.
