STRENGTHENING INTERPALIAMENTARY COLLABORATION BETWEEN MONGOLIA AND SWITZERLAND
The cooperation between the Secretariats of the Parliament of Mongolia and the Swiss Confederation continues to grow, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing legislative excellence and institutional development.
From September 23 to 27, representatives of the Standing Committee on Supervision and Technical Cooperation of the Swiss Parliament (SPS) are visiting Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to organize a joint workshop with the Secretariat of the State Great Hural of Mongolia to exchange experiences on parliamentary oversight, evaluation, and monitoring under the“Strengthening Parliamentary Institute” project.
This initiative aims to foster mutual learning and dialogue on effective mechanisms for assessing legislative implementation. Participants will share methodologies and best practices, review the outcomes of previous collaborative projects supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, and identify strategic areas for future cooperation.
