PROSPECTS FOR COOPERATION DISCUSSED

On 19 September 2025, H.E. Ms. Davaasuren Gerelmaa, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Mongolia to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva, met with H.E. Ms. Anne Lazar-Sury, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Republic of France to the Conference on Disarmament.

The meeting provided an opportunity for a constructive exchange of views on international cooperation, peace and security, and Mongolia’s nuclear-weapon-free status.

In January 2026, Mongolia will assume the presidency of the Conference on Disarmament.
