MONGOLIAN CULTURE SHOWCASED TO OVER 4,000 VISITORS IN ZURICH
On September 7, 2025, the Rietberg Museum in Zurich spotlighted Mongolian culture as part of the city’s annual “Long Night of Museums” festival. During this popular event, Zurich’s leading museums remain open until 2 a.m., offering residents discounted access to exhibitions and cultural programs.
The cultural celebration was jointly organized by the Embassy of Mongolia to Switzerland, the Rietberg Museum, and the Mandakh Naran NGO. Approximately 4,000 visitors took part in the festivities, which featured a hands-on art workshop inspired by the upcoming international exhibition “Mongolia: A Journey Through Time”. Participants created animal motifs reflecting nomadic philosophy, while traditional Mongolian music and folk-dance performances brought the spirit of the steppe to life. A traditional yurt installation also offered guests an immersive experience of Mongolian heritage.
Looking ahead, the partners are preparing to launch the international exhibition “Mongolia: A Journey Through Time” at the Rietberg Museum, scheduled to run from October 24, 2025, through March 2026.
