BILATERAL RELATIONS BETWEEN MONGOLIA AND SWITZERLAND WERE DISCUSSED

03 September 2025, Geneva. Ambassador D.Gerelmaa held a meeting with Mr. Samuel Cobbi, Regional Coordinator of the Asia and Pacific department of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland at the Embassy upon his new diplomatic mission.

During the meeting, both parties highlighted the growing momentum in the bilateral relations of Mongolia and Switzerland, especially the fruitful outcomes of the historic visit paid by H.E. Viola Amherd, the President of Switzerland to Mongolia in 2024 and the further potential cooperation between the two countries.

Ambassador D. Gerelmaa expressed sincere appreciation for the FDFA’s continued support and Mr. Cobbi’s dedicated engagement with the Embassy of Mongolia. She extended her best wishes for his success in the new position.
