THE DELEGATION OF MONGOLIA IS ATTENDING THE 66TH SERIES OF MEETINGS OF THE ASSEMBLIES OF THE MEMBER STATES OF WIPO

The Sixty-sixth Series of Meetings of the Assemblies of the Member States of World Intellectual Property Organization is taking place on July 8-17, 2025, in Geneva, Switzerland.  H.E Ms. Gerelmaa Davaasuren, Permanent Representative of Mongolia to the United Nations Office at Geneva and Mr. Elbegsaikhan Ganbat, Director General of the Intellectual Property Office of Mongolia are attending the meeting.

During the Assembly meeting, WIPO’s 193 member countries will evaluate the development of multilateral cooperation in the field of intellectual property rights protection, assess the progress of the organization's work, and discuss future policy directions.

Moreover this year’s Assemblies of the Member States is also notable for being attended by Ministers and Deputy Ministers from 40 countries and heads of intellectual property offices from over 100 countries, making it the most widely attended high level meeting in the history of the Assemblies of the World Intellectual Property Organization.

During the plenary session of the Assembly meeting, H.E Ms. Gerelmaa Davaasuren delivered a statement on the policies and activities implemented by the Government of Mongolia in the field of intellectual property rights protection.
