“WOMEN LEADING IN MULTILATERALISM AND DIPLOMACY” EXHIBITION OPENS IN GENEVA

The exhibition “Women Leading in Multilateralism and Diplomacy” was officially launched on Tuesday, 24 June 2025, at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, marking the International Day of Women in Diplomacy.
Organized by the initiative of Perception Change Project (PCP) in the Office of the Director-General of UNOG, in collaboration with the UN Library & Archives Geneva, the exhibition celebrates the achievements and leadership of women in the multilateral arena.
 
It casts a spotlight on those who are actively shaping international policies, negotiating peace, leading initiatives that advance sustainable development, and playing prominent roles in the multilateral space.
The exhibition features portraits of 107 remarkable women from over 60 countries, underscoring the geographic and cultural breadth of women’s contributions to diplomacy and international affairs.
 
Representing Mongolia, H.E. Mrs. Batmunkh Battsetseg, Member of Parliament and Minister for Foreign Affairs, and Dr. Sanjaasuren Oyun, Director of External Affairs at the Global Climate Fund, are among those honored, for their valuable commitment to international cooperation and the promotion of female leadership.
