Since becoming a partner country in 2014, Mongolia has engaged in a range of successful joint projects under this collaboration.

DCAF has also been an active participant in the “Ulaanbaatar Dialogue” on Northeast Asian Security, an initiative led by Mongolia. At the 10th Conference, held on 5–6 June 2025 in Ulaanbaatar, Dr. Albrecht Schnabel, Director of the Asia and Pacific Department, and Mr. Rohit Karki, Regional Program Officer, attended as co-organizer and facilitator to a panel discussion, further deepening the center’s engagement in the regional dialogue.
