AMBASSADOR RECEIVED MONGOLIAN DOCTORS WORKING AT THE UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL OF GENEVA

On February 17th, 2025, Ambassador H.E. Ms. Gerelmaa Davaasuren received National Cancer Center of Mongolia (NCCM) surgeon Dr. B. Azjargal and NCCM oncologist, radiologist Dr. D. Saranzayaa who are now working at the University Hospital of Geneva (HUG) within the framework of Memorandum of Understanding between the NCCM and HUG that was established on September, 2024.

During their time at the University Hospital of Geneva, our doctors are focusing on enhancing their skills in immunotherapy, a critical component of modern cancer treatment that is less accessible in Mongolia, as well as in minimally invasive laparoscopic and thoracoscopic surgery techniques for abdominal and chest organs.

The Geneva University Hospitals is one of the five university hospitals of Switzerland and the largest one in the country. It is one of the largest hospitals in Europe.
