H.E. Ms. Davaasuren Gerelmaa, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Mongolia, met with Mr. Dmitry Mariyasin, Deputy Executive Secretary of the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), on December 17, 2024.

During the meeting, both parties engaged in a productive exchange of views on expanding cooperation between Mongolia and the UNECE. They explored potential avenues for enhancing collaboration and discussed the possibility of Mongolia's accession to international agreements and conventions aimed at protecting the interests of Mongolian auto carriers and business entities.

The UNECE, established in 1947, is one of the five regional commissions of the United Nations. It plays a pivotal role in developing norms, standards, and conventions to facilitate international cooperation both within and outside the region.
