PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVE PARTICIPATED IN THE P6+P2 INFORMAL MEETING OF THE CONFERENCE ON DISARMAMANENT

On December 5, 2024, Permanent Representative of Mongolia H.E. Ms. Gerelmaa Davaasuren participated in an informal meeting of the P6+P2 group of the Conference on Disarmament (CD), which gathered 6 presidents of the CD in 2025 (Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico) along with the last president of 2024 (Israel) and the first president of 2026 (Mongolia). 

During the P6+P2 informal meeting which was organized by Ms. Tatiana Volovaya, Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva and the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs,  the parties discussed how P6+P2 can work together to effectively guide the activities and the continuity of the CD and exchanged views on the priorities and main objectives to be pursued during their respective presidencies.
