On November 23, 2024, the Embassy organized a ceremony for Mongolian citizens residing in the Swiss Confederation to mark the 100th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic and the adoption of the first Constitution.

 

The ceremony was opened by H. E. Ms. D.Gerelmaa, Ambassador of Mongolia to Switzerland and a lecturer at the School of Law of the National University of Mongolia and a former member of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia, Mr. D. Ganzorig introduced the topic “The 1924 and 1992 Constitutions of Mongolia: Historical Links”.

 

During the anniversary event, Ambassador presented Mr. L. Batchuluun, director of the "GM-STAR" sports club, with the “Order of the Polar Star" by Decree No. 97 of the President of Mongolia in recognition of his efforts and active work in organizing sporting events for citizens living and working in the Swiss Confederation, promoting Mongolian culture and heritage.
