POTENTIAL COOPERATION BETWEEN MONGOLIA AND SWITZERLAND WAS DISCUSSED
Geneva, 28 August 2024. Ambassador of Mongolia D.Gerelmaa held a meeting with Mr. Christian Engler, Deputy head of the Asia, Latin America and Caribbean Division of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Ms.Stefanie Burri, Head of Swiss Cooperation in Mongolia, Ms. Zolzaya Sanjmyatav, Senior expert of the SDC in Mongolia and Mr. Rene Luchsinger, Country Director of BPN (Business professionals network) foundation in Mongolia.
During the meeting, parties highlighted the successful high-level visits, political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized at the margins of the 60th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Switzerland.
Delegates discussed in depth about the implementation of SDC projects in Mongolia and explored potential areas for continued collaboration in further strengthening and identifying new avenues for cooperation that align with the developmental goals of Mongolia.
