The World Women’s Forum
The World Women’s Forum, under the auspices of President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, will be convened on August 22-23, 2024, in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, to hold a constructive dialogue on the importance of women's empowerment, gender equality, climate change, and the effective implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
Women leaders from all aspects, including Heads of State and Governments, Foreign Ministers, Ministers, Heads of international organizations and international NGOs, UN good will Ambassadors, as well as businesswomen, artists, and athletes participate in the Forum. The World Women’s Forumthemed “Towards Green Future” welcomes more than 200 foreign representatives and over 600 Mongolian women.
Women leaders from several international organizations based in Geneva are going to attend the World Women’s Forum, including Ms. Tatyana Valovaya, Director General of the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG), Ms. Amy Pope, Director General of the International Organization of Migration (IOM), Ms. Elyse Mosquini, Secretary General for the General Assembly of International Committe of of the Red Cross (ICRC) and Ms. Victoria Desyat, President of the Association of the Swiss Women and empowerment (ASWE).
