PROSPECTS FOR COOPERATION DISCUSSED

H.E. Mrs. Davaasuren Gerelmaa, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Mongolia, held a meeting with Mr. Mahesh Mahalingam, Chief of Staff, UNAIDS.

During the meeting, both sides discussed potential avenues for cooperation within the World Women's Forum (WWF), to be hosted in August 2024 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Mr. Mahesh Mahalingam reaffirmed UNAIDS's unwavering support for the World Women's Forum (WWF) organization.

Both parties also emphasized the importance of the promotion of gender equality and human rights in preventing HIV and expressed mutual interest in further strengthening the cooperation between Mongolia and UNAIDS.
