"GO MONGOLIA' TOURISM AND CULTURAL EVENT WAS HELD AT RIETBERG MUSEUM

In connection with the announcement of 2023 to 2024 by the Government of Mongolia as the "Years to Visit Mongolia" and the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Swiss Confederation, on May 25th 2024, "Go Mongolia" tourism and cultural promotion event was organized in cooperation with Swiss Development Agency and Mandakh Naran NGO at the Rietberg Museum in Zurich, Switzerland.

The event was opened by statements made by H.E. Ms. Gerelmaa Davaasuren, Ambassador of Mongolia to the Swiss Confederation, Mr. Samuel Cobbi, Deputy Regional Coordinator for East Asia of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, and Ms. Annette Bhagwati, Director of the Rietberg Museum.

Presentation of ethnic artists led by Mr. Bayanzul Damdinsuren, as well as ’Ger Art’ by Mr. Sukhburen Narankhuu were presented during the event.

Moreover, taste of Mongolian cuisine and the presentation of Mongolian made products were presented to the guests.

Over 200 members of the Museum Rietberg's association of friends attended the "Go Mongolia" half day event.
