HUMANITARIAN COOPERATION DISCUSSED
On 21 March, Ambassador D. Gerelmaa held a meeting with Alessandro De Filippo, Head of the "Permanences Volantes" Project for social activities of the EPER humanitarian NGO, and D.Otgonchimeg, Senior officer in charge of Mongolia.
The Swiss-based "Permanences Volantes" provides support to newcomers in Switzerland, offering assistance ranging from permit issues to language courses and legal advice, with a particular focus on socially vulnerable groups such as asylum seekers and the people with disabilities.
Expressing appreciation for the organization's continues support, Ambassador Gerelmaa commended their efforts in facilitating the integration of foreigners into Swiss society.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the potential collaboration focusing on organizing joint briefings and information sessions for Mongolians in order to enhance their understanding of legislation affecting foreigners and address frequently asked questions.
