ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE WAS DISCUSSED

On January 25, 2024, H.E. Mrs. Davaasuren Gerelmaa, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Mongolia, held a meeting with Mr. Jean Todt, United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for Road Safety.

During the meeting, H.E. Mrs. Davaasuren Gerelmaa, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Mongolia, emphasized the crucial contribution of the road sector to the country's development and informed about the Mongolian Government's policy to accelerate the construction of road infrastructure under the “Vision-2050” Long-term Development Policy of Mongolia.

Special Envoy, Mr. Jean Todt expressed his appreciation for Mongolia’s effort to improve infrastructure safety designs and create a safe environment for especially non-motorized transport users with the Road Network Development until 2040.
