PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVE ATTENDS THE WTO SENIOR OFFICIALS MEETING
Permanent representative H.E Ms. Gerelmaa Davaasuren attended the Senior Officials Meeting of the World Trade Organization which was held in Geneva on October 23-24, 2023.
The Senior Officials Meeting with more than 1000 delegates from Member states and observers covered the comprehensive preparation for the upcoming 13th Ministerial Conference to be convened in Abu Dhabi in February 2024 and the parties deliberated the current challenges and cooperative solutions, trade and development, investment facilitation, agriculture, food security concerns, industrialization, e-commerce, dispute settlement mechanism, WTO reforms and other relevant trade areas.
During the Senior Officials Meeting, eight more states deposited their instruments of acceptance of the Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies.
