MEETING WITH THE MONGOLIAN COMMUNITY IN SWITZERLAND

On October 8th, 2023, a meeting with the Mongolian citizens in Switzerland was held at the Maison Kultura center, Geneva. At the beginning of the meeting, Ambassador H.E. Ms. Gerelmaa Davaasuren and the diplomats of the Embassy have briefly informed the bilateral relations between Mongolia and Swiss confederation, engagements of the Embassy of Mongolia in Geneva and openly discussed consular affairs, public service and cautionary notices  followed by the questions and answers. During the meeting, several associations introduced their projects and plans of events to be organized among the Mongolian community.   

As of today, about 4,000 of Mongolians are residing in Switzerland, and more than 10 active associations and NGOs, including 3 mongolian language centers, are actively operating.
