ON THE INITIATIVE OF THE EMBASSY, LEADING PROFESSORS FROM THE GENEVA UNIVERSITY HOSPITALS PAID A WORKING VISIT TO MONGOLIA

On the initiative of the Embassy of Mongolia to the Swiss Confederation and with the invitation of National Cancer Center of Mongolia (NCCM) Chair of the Department of Oncology of the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) Professor Olivier Michielin (MD, PhD),  Head Physician of the Thoracic and Endocrine Surgery Division  Professor Frederic Triponez, staff physician in the Thoracic and Endocrine Surgery Division Dr. Wolfram Karenovics paid a working visit to Mongolia from August 28^th to September 2^nd.

The goal of the working visit was to determine joint projects and programs in the field of oncology and surgical operation between HUG and NCCM on site.  During the working visit HUG delegation worked at the Department of Chemotherapy, Department of Surgery, Department of Head and Neck, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the Department of Pathology of the NCCM.
