PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVE AND AMBASSADOR D. GERELMAA PARTICIPATED IN THE PREPARATORY MEETING FOR THE UNIVERSAL POSTAL UNION'S FOURTH EXTRAORDINARY CONGRESS

On August 25, 2023, H.E. Mrs. Gerelmaa Davaasuren, Permanent Representative and Ambassador of Mongolia, participated in the preparatory meeting of the Universal Postal Union’s 4th Extraordinary Congress for the Ambassadors and Permanent Representatives of the Union member countries in the Asia-Pacific region.

During the meeting, H.E. Mrs. Gerelmaa Davaasuren, Permanent Representative and Ambassador of Mongolia, held discussions with Mr.Masahiko Metoki, Director General of the Universal Postal Union, focusing on the potential for enhancing and advancing postal relations along with the implementation of joint projects.

Established in 1874, the Universal Postal Union currently comprises 192 countries. Mongolia became a member of the Universal Postal Union in 1963.
