PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVE H.E MS. GERELMAA DAVAASUREN MET WITH MR. ANDREW ONG, DIRECTOR OF THE DIVISION OF ASIA PACIFIC OF THE WORLD INTELLETCTUAL PROPERTY ORGANIZATION

On June 16^th, 2023, H.E Ms. Gerelmaa Davaasuren, Permanent Representative of Mongolia met with Mr. Andrew Ong, Director of the Division of Asia Pacific, Regional National Development Sector of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and Mr. Rudolph Dadey, Consultant.

During the meeting two sides exchanged views on the preparation of the working visit of Director Andrew Ong and Mr. Rudolph Dadey to Mongolia which will take place from June 25^th to July 1^st. Two sides also discussed about the "Youth Ecopreneur Awards" to be organized within the framework of the World Export Development Forum.

Moreover, parties exchanged information on the ongoing project between Mongolia and WIPO in the protection of Mongolian pinenuts through geographical indication, as well as, projects aimed at supporting female Mongolian enterpreneurs.
