THE DELEGATION OF MONGOLIA IS ATTENDING THE 76TH WORLD HEALTH ASSEMBLY

The Seventy-sixth World Health Assembly is being held in Geneva, Switzerland, on 21–30 May 2023.

H.E Ms. Gerelmaa Davaasuren, Permanent Representative of Mongolia to the United Nations Office at Geneva, along with Ms. Tugsdelger Sovd, State Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Ms.Yanjmaa Binderya, Director of Division of International Cooperation of Ministry of Health are attending to the 76th World Health Assembly.

This year’s World Health Assembly is unique in that it is being held on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the World Health Organization.

At the 76th World Health Assembly, member states are focusing on strengthening preparedness and response to health emergencies, women's, children's and adolescent health, universal health coverage, primary health care, traditional medicine, infection prevention, tobacco control, migrant health, non-communicable diseases and mental health.
