EXCHANGING VIEWS ON THE FURTHER IMPLEMENTATION OF THE E-TRADE READINESS ASSESSMENT

Permanent Representative and Ambassador of Mongolia D.Gerelmaa held a meeting with Mr. Yamazaki Kazuyuki, the Permanent Representative and Ambassador of Japan to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva on April 25, 2023. At the meeting, both sides exchanged views on further developing multilateral cooperation between the two countries and strengthening the e-commerce system in Mongolia.

Expressing a willingness to formulate an e-commerce national strategy with the support of the Government of Japan, Ambassador of Mongolia D. Gerelmaa highlighted the donor roundtable event for the implementation of priority actions in the eTrade readiness assessment of Mongolia which will take place on June 8, 2023.

During the meeting, the Ambassador of Japan, Mr. Yamazaki Kazuyuki said that he will seek any possibility to collaborate with Mongolia in formulating the national strategy given the utmost importance of e-commerce.
